Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in mobile and web application testing. The ideal candidate should have experience with Appium, Selenium, Core Java, and various automation tools and frameworks. This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications, with a strong focus on mobile testing.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile and web applications using Appium and Selenium.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application requirements and create effective test strategies.
• Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications across multiple devices, OS versions, and platforms (iOS, Android).
• Identify, document, and track bugs, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Optimize and enhance automation frameworks, ensuring scalability and reusability.
• Perform test data creation and setup for automation needs.
• Generate and present detailed test reports, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging tools/technologies in test automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer, Software QA Engineer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in Core Java and experience with Appium and Selenium for automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience with frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) is a plus.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for database validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based mobile testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
